Join a voice channel and queue anything — a search term, a direct link or a playlist URL. Playback commands need no permissions, so any member in the channel can control the queue.

Queue a track#

Queue a track. Pass next to put it at the front of the queue instead of the back.

,pause

Pause the current track.

,resume

Resume a paused track.

,skip

Skip the current track.

,stop

Stop playback and clear the queue.

Where tracks come from

Queries resolve against Spotify, YouTube, SoundCloud and Deezer. A bare search term picks the closest match; paste a link to force an exact one.

Manage the queue#

View all tracks queued.

,queue move <from> <to>

Move a queued track to a different position.

,queue remove <position>

Remove one track from the queue.

,queue shuffle

Shuffle the order of the queued tracks.

,queue empty

Clear the queue without stopping the current track.

Playback control#

,volume 60

,volume <n>

Set playback volume.

,repeat

Toggle repeat for the current track or queue.

,fastforward <seconds>

Jump forward within the current track.

,rewind <seconds>

Jump backward within the current track.

,lyrics

Fetch lyrics for whatever is currently playing.

Nights must be able to speak

If playback silently fails, check that Nights has Connect and Speak in that voice channel. Both are commonly removed by channel-level overrides.
