Tickets

Support tickets, panels, transcripts and staff routing.

Tickets give members a private channel with your staff. Nights can build the entire flow — panel, category, staff role and transcript logging — in one command, or you can assemble it piece by piece.

One-command setup#

  1. 1

    Run the all-in-one setup

This creates the ticket category, the panel message members click, and the logging channel transcripts are written to.

    ,setticketaio
  2. 2

    Check the panel

Open the channel it created and confirm the panel renders with its button. That button is what members use — they never type a command.

  3. 3

    Test it end to end

Open a ticket yourself, then ,close it. The transcript should appear in the log channel.

,setticketaioAdministrator

Set up the whole ticket logging system in one command.

,ticket <subcommand>Administrator

Full ticket system management group for manual configuration.

Re-running setup is safe

,setticketaio reuses anything that already exists rather than duplicating it, so it doubles as a repair command if a channel is deleted.

Handling tickets#

These run inside an open ticket channel. Claiming assigns it to you so two staff do not answer the same ticket.

,claim
,escalate
,close
,claim

Assign the current ticket to yourself.

,escalate

Escalate the ticket to a higher staff tier.

,close

Close the ticket and write its transcript to the log channel.

,reopen

Reopen a ticket that was closed.

,delete

Permanently delete the ticket channel.

Close, don't delete

,close preserves the transcript; ,delete removes the channel outright. Prefer closing so the record survives a later dispute.

Transcripts#

Closing a ticket writes a full transcript to the configured log channel. Each one gets a short reference you can look up later from the ticket lookup page on this site.
